Link to a PDF or PPT or Document
You can link any document file: docx, pptx, ppt, pdf, etc. for viewing. You might want to add a button and then link to the file. The view will have the opportunity to open the file or download to his/her own computer. According to Weebly support, this is the preferred mode. However, you can also embed a file into a page using the Media Document upload option. These may be slow to load up on the viewer's computer.
Embed a Document File to a Page
You can also add a PDF, Word file, or other document directly to a page using our Embedded Document element. This option is provided by Scribd, it's not actually something we've created. We do not recommend the use of this element; linking to the documents as described in the guide above is a much better way to provide access to them. See the two examples below: the first is a pdf and the 2nd is a PowerPoint ppt file.
